The Mayor of Malisheva, Ekrem Kastrati, together with the Directorate for Budget and Finance, has continued holding meetings with citizens as part of the process of drafting the 2026 municipal budget, aiming to align it with the real needs and priorities of the community.
Last night, meetings were held with residents of the Local Councils in Banjë-Kërvasari and Lladroc-Senik, where the Medium-Term Budget Framework for 2026–2028 was presented, along with an overview of this year’s budget expenditures and future project plans.
Citizens emphasized the need for continued investment in general infrastructure—such as roads, sewage systems, street lighting, and sidewalks—while also expressing concern about inadequate access to clean drinking water.
Mayor Kastrati reaffirmed his commitment to addressing this issue, despite the fact that water supply management falls under the responsibility of the “Southern Hydro Region” company. He pledged that the municipality will remain actively engaged in advocating for better service delivery and long-term solutions for all residents.
